West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday, emphatically declared that he will not allow railroads hike prices.
"We do not accept this price hike. I assure you," Ms. Banerjee said the Nandigram function organized to observe the Krishak Diwas (Farmers Day).
Trinamool Congress leader said the party leadership has not been informed of the decision to raise the price and the Trinamool Congress Parliamentary Party had already made clear its position on the matter.
"We do not want to increase prices," he said.
Soon, Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi, the only representative of the party's trade union government announced increase in the prices of passenger cars in his budget speech, the leader Sudip Bandopadhyay Trinamool Congress Parliamentary Party and the Union Minister of State for Health, told reporters that the party was a difficult decision to cancel.

Mr. Bandopadhyay said that the TMC MPs asked the Railway Minister to withdraw the price hike.
When pointed out that Mr. Trivedi was a member of the Trinamool Congress, he said the Railway Minister has done, "constitutional" by the budget.
